Marketing Strategy to Grow Lethan Croft’s Premium Oven-Ready Meal Service
The Client
Roseberry Marketing supported Lethan Croft Kitchen via The Real Farming Trust’s LEAP Project. Lethan Croft Kitchen is a small food business based in Moray, Scotland, delivering bistro-quality oven-ready meals to the local area. They also offer sustainable, seasonal catering options for meetings and events.
The Objective
I was commissioned to develop a marketing strategy to help Lethan Croft Kitchen grow the oven-ready meal side of the business.
The Project
This project was a pure delight to work on. Right up my street, with my love of good food and MSc in Gastronomy to boot. Business owners Sally and Gabby were a joy to work with, and within a couple of weeks of presenting my marketing strategy to them, they already began implementing the messaging and tactics I recommended. That makes my heart soar!
I crafted a marketing strategy outlining branding, tone of voice, positioning, USP, audience segmentation, key messaging, the 7Ps, customer journey, promotional techniques and evaluation. It had to be realistic to implement by the very small team, and as budget-friendly as possible.
I included quick wins, as well as some more aspirational ideas for when they’re a bit more established.
This was my favourite project in recent years and I am so grateful to have been able to work with this lovely wee brand who have such passion to improve their little corner of the local food system.
Soon after I worked with them, Sally was approached by the Press & Journal for an article. This is great coverage for her business. I look forward to seeing how Lethan Croft Kitchen grows and develops over the next few months and years. They deserve great things.
